Shuttles on the Stevenson trail

Our transport solutions on all stages from Le Puy-en-Velay in Alès.

The Stevenson trail to Le Puy-en-Velay is more than 272 km long and can be covered in about 12 days of hiking. To help hikers along the way, La Malle Postale offers transportation solutions on the Stevenson trail between Le Puy-en-Velay, Saint-Jean-du-Gard and Alès.

Our regular shuttles therefore enable hikers to return to their starting point so as to get back to their vehicle or the nearest train station.

Why use our shuttles?

To return to your starting point at the end of your hike.
To get back to your vehicle that you left at one of the stages along the way.
To reach a train station along the route, in Le Puy-en-Velay or Langogne

How does it work?

I check the schedule of the shuttles
I book my shuttle (no later than 7 PM the evening before my hike)
I arrive at the shuttle pick-up point at the scheduled time
I sit back and let myself be transported!

Preparing my shuttle transport

As soon as your return date has been set, use the 'Request a quote' button on our website to request a shuttle.

Please note that the number of places is limited!

On the day of transport, don't forget to take your backpack and belongings to your accommodation.

Our driver will not make the diversions to collect them.

Go to the pick-up point indicated in your booking.

Be careful, be early! The driver must respect the timetable for all passengers. If he is late, he will not be able to wait for you.
