Near Clermont-Ferrand, in the Massif Central, discover the volcanoes and lakes of Auvergne. This 188 km long hike, remarkable for its volcanic landscapes, can be travelled on foot in about 9 days.
The Tour of the Volcanoes and lakes of the Auvergne (GR©30) is located in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park. You'll discover a succession of landscapes made of dormant volcanoes, craters and lakes with notably the Puy de Sancy, the Puy de la Vache, the Puy de Dôme, the Chaudefour valley, the Mont-Dore, Saint-Nectaire or the Lac de Guery and Lake Pavin.
