The GR® de Pays du Tour de la Vologne loop is a 145 km hiking trail that can be completed in approximately 10 to 11 days of walking.

Starting from the city of Epinal, you will follow the Vologne Valley as you gradually ascend towards its source. You will pass through Gérardmer, where you can appreciate the freshness and beauty of its lake before ascending, via the GR 5 trail, to the summit of Hohneck with its breathtaking views between Alsace and Lorraine.

You will then reconnect with the Vologne River, passing through Longemer and the Kertoff Gorge, before descending to the Vosges Piedmont with its forests, valleys, rocky formations, and surprising waterfalls.

Here are some examples of stages on the GR® de Pays du Tour de la Vologne :

• Stage 1: Epinal - La Baffe (approximately 21 km, 6 hours) 
• Stage 2: La Baffe - Bruyères (approximately 20 km, 6 hours) 
• Stage 3: Bruyères - Granges-Aumontzey (approximately 13 km, 4 hours and 20 minutes) 
• Stage 4: Granges-Aumontzey - Xonrupt-Longemer (approximately 21.5 km, 7 hours and 15 minutes) 
• Stage 5: Xonrupt-Longemer - Le Hohneck (approximately 16 km, 5 hours and 30 minutes) 
• Stage 6: Le Hohneck - Gérardmer (approximately 15.5 km, 5 hours) 
• Stage 7: Gérardmer - Champ-de-Laxet (approximately 21 km, 6 hours and 30 minutes) 
• Stage 8: Champ-de-Laxet - La Poirie (approximately 18 km, 5 hours and 15 minutes) 
• Stage 9: La Poirie - Jarménil (approximately 11.5 km, 3 hours and 30 minutes) 
• Stage 10: Jarménil - Epinal (approximately 19 km, 5 hours and 30 minutes)
